Important note about my rates: To keep my services affordable, my business is cash preferred. Credit/debit card processing through Square is also available. Checks are an acceptable payment option for established clients - i.e. someone who has been seeing me for at least 6 months, or regular clients of my officemate, Michaela. There is a $50 fee for all bounced checks. Thank you for supporting a small business.
Customized Massage Therapy
Techniques and pressure used during massage is customized based on your needs! I can use just one form of massage, or a combination of techniques, according to your preference. The techniques I use may include:
Basic Swedish/Relaxation Massage - Lighter to more moderate pressure is used. Long, flowing strokes are applied to the body to relax the nervous system. Especially wonderful for those who are new to massage, or people in need of an anti-stress treatment.
Deep Tissue/Connective Tissue - Involves firmer pressure than a Swedish massage, and more focus on specific targeted areas. If you are suffering from a lot of physical tension, chronic pain, or if you simply enjoy a slightly firmer pressure, this is the massage form I recommend!
Trigger Point Therapy - A very specific form of Deep Tissue involving sustained pressure to specific points. Trigger Points may be felt locally (right in the area where they are located) or trigger a radiating pain sensation in other nearby areas of the body. This therapy can be very effective but is also very direct and can be slightly intense.
Reflexology - Specific point work on the feet, hands and even at the ears that may have an effect on other systems of the body can be addressed during your massage if you like.

Pregnancy Massage
A gentle massage, designed to relieve the stress and discomforts during pregnancy, such as hip and lower back pain. You will be propped up with pillows, for comfort and safety during the later trimesters.

Little services you can add to your massage session for a truly unique experience at very little cost!
Sweet Peppermint Foot Therapy - new for Summer 2019! During the last few minutes of your service, a cool, refreshing mint scrub will be massaged on your feet to stimulate lymph flow and help revitalize you. A mint and vanilla scented body butter will provide the finishing touch after I remove the scrub.
Cold Stone Headache Therapy - new for Summer 2019! I will spend several minutes during your service using cool, marble stones on your face to reduce mild levels of inflammation from sinus pressure due to allergies or changes in weather. This add-on is also very helpful for migraines and headaches, or just to beat the heat!
